An Advocate-Kai-korero is a person who speaks and acts on behalf of others and who pleads for them with those in power.

Kate Sheppard

Kate Sheppard was the leader of the Woman's Suffrage Movement in New Zealand. She inspired Women that suffer around the world. Katherine Wilson Sheppard aka Kate Wilson Sheppard. She also appears on the NZ ten dollars note. She was born in 1847 and died in 1934.

My Prayer for Hope

Dear God,

You are my lord and saviour help us to get through another day. Bless all those that are poor and needy, who have no food and need comforting and love. Bless the day we have today and all those who are unwell.
